Tour description

Venice not only offers a unique landscape in the world marked by its canals, but also surprises with its buildings of greatartistic, religious and historical value.

On this Free Tour you will be guided by an expert guide through the most famous sights of Venice while strolling along the streets and canals. The tour starts in the heart of Venice, where you can admire the beautiful facade of the Gran Teatro La Fenice. From there you will walk to the famous St. Mark’s Square which houses the monumental St. Mark’s Basilica with its nearly 100-meter high bell tower and the Doge’s Palace, which was the residence of the Doges or supreme magistrates of the Republic of Venice.

On the way to the Grand Canal, you will stop to enjoy the beautiful view of the Bridge of Sighs. Once in the artery of the city, you will cross the famous Rialto Bridge and stroll along its banks to see the marvelous palaces and churches that decorate them. The highlight is the baroque basilica of Santa Maria della Salute, which will be the last stop of this free tour.
