Through their buildings, learn about the rivalry between the two most important families in the city that was the cradle of the Renaissance. On the one hand, the former Medici palace which is now the Ufizzi Gallery. On the other, the Pitti Palace and its Boboli Garden, which belonged to the Pitti family.

You will start with the Ufizzi Gallery which has one of the oldest and most extensive collections of Renaissance art in the world. Here you can admire key works from in art history such as Boticelli’s Birth of Venus and Primavera and Michelangelo’s Tondo Doni. Afterwards, at the Pitti Palace you will enjoy a large two-floor museum set in a 15th century building worthy of royalty. As you leave the palace you will come across the Boboli Gardens, filled with exotic plants and complex landscape architecture with views of the Tuscan countryside.
