What better place to travel to Ancient Greece than Athens, one of the most powerful cities in the Mediterranean at that time.

With this ticket you will have access to the best preserved vestiges of Athens, including the Acropolis, the Agora, Hadrian’s Library, the Olympieion, the Kerameikos and the Lyceum of Aristotle.

You will enter the Acropolis through the ancient Panathenaic Way, which connected the Agora with this sacred complex, and there you will be welcomed by the majestic colonnaded portico called the Propylaea. Once inside, you can visit the Parthenon , one of the largest temples of Ancient Greece dedicated to Athena, the patron goddess of the city. You can also visit the Erechtheion, known for its woman-shaped columns called caryatids, the Odeon, a semicircular building dedicated to music or the Temple of Athena Nike commemorating the victory against the Persians.

Afterwards, you will visit the Agora, which was the political and social center of ancient Athens. In this site there are remains of important buildings such as the Tholos where the Boulé or Council met to make democratic decisions or the well-preserved Temple of Hephaestus. Very close to this site, you can also access the remains of what was the later Roman Agora and Hadrian’s library.

Further away from the city’s nerve center are the sites of Kerameikos, the necropolis of Ancient Athens, and the Olimpeion, a monumental complex dedicated to Olympian Zeus. Near this last site you can visit the Lyceum of Aristotle, where the famous philosopher founded his school and spread his knowledge.
